The Eppingen forest sensory trail was created in the Eppingen city forest as part of the Baden-Württemberg Homeland Days 2010.

The three-kilometer circular trail has 13 stations:
- provides excitement and protection
- is about acoustics and calm
- informs about growth and energy
- tells about animals and biotopes
- invites you to walk barefoot and make music
Let yourself be surprised and enchanted by the forest - more than the sum of its trees!

The forest sensory trail begins and ends at the Jägersee between Eppingen and Kleingartach. The route to the Jägersee is signposted from the L1110 Eppingen to Kleingartach country road. The forest sensory trail runs mainly on unpaved natural paths.

    Eppingen has a well-developed road network and is conveniently located directly on the B293 federal highway as an east-west tangent from Heilbronn to Karlsruhe. The BAB 6 motorway can be reached in around seven kilometers via the L 1110 feeder road.

    With the services of the Albtal-Verkehrsgesellschaft and Deutsche Bahn, local public transport in Eppingen is also well developed. The S4 can be used to reach destinations on the light rail line between Öhringen in the Künzelsau district and Baden-Baden, and the S5 of Deutsche Bahn provides easy access to Heidelberg and Mannheim, important long-distance train stations.
