Description Destination
Germany's largest science center surprises with an extraordinary variety of offers and stands in a special way for the joy of experimentation, knowledge and innovation. A spectacular new building made of glass and steel complements the previous domicile in the historic Hagenbucher warehouse, which has been completely renovated.
In the discovery worlds, four exhibition levels with numerous hands-on stations inspire. The highlight of the adventure worlds is the Science Dome. In the unique combination of planetarium and theater, you can travel virtually through space or experience fascinating laser and experimental shows. On the roof terrace there is a space station of a special kind: the observatory with its telescopes and observation islands. The experimental theater is designed for children up to ten years of age, which conveys science and technology in an entertaining show format.

Arrival by car
If you arrive by car, you can park in the experimenta parking garage. For our visitors, the discounted daily rate is 5 euros. The parking ticket must be validated at our cash desk and is valid for 30 minutes after leaving experimenta. .

Arrival from the A81
Take exit 11 Heilbronn/Untergruppenbach and follow the L1111 to Heilbronn.

Getting there by public transport:
If you arrive by train, get off at Heilbronn Central Station.
From there it is only about a 7-minute walk to experimenta. If you come by tram, get off at the “Neckarturm am Kurt-Schumacher-Platz” stop.
From there it is just a few steps to us. It is therefore not absolutely necessary to use the tram from the main station to the Neckarturm at Kurt-Schumacher-Platz.
