    Overall impression

    Ein würdiges Museum

    Es sind genügend kostenfreie Parkplätze im Innenhof vorhanden und draußen steht eine echte große Dampflock + eine im Betrieb befindliche LGB-Landschaft.
    Die riesengroße Modellbahn ist unglaublich liebevoll und detailliert gestaltet.
    In der ersten Ebene erfährt man etwas zur Entstehungsgeschichte von Märklin und sieht viel Blechspielzeug, sowie Konstruktionsspielbausätze.
    Dort wäre auch der Übergang zur Qualitätsendkontrolle, wo es unter der Woche zur Betriebszeit halbstündliche Führungen gibt (Also wochenends nicht!)
    Im obersten Stock geht es um Märklinzüge aller Spurweiten. An insgesamt drei Stellen im Museum gibt es Spielecken für Kinder, wo man Kindersets von Märklin ausprobieren kann. Leider funktionieren die Elektrozüge nicht, oder die Steuerungen fehlen gar ganz. So kommt kein Interesse an einer Märklin Starterpackung für Kinder auf!
    Der Shop im EG ist sehr gut sortiert, wobei hauptsächlich Märklin angeboten wird. Für Gleichstromer gibt es nur wenige Trixartikel. In der Fundgrube gibt es reduzierte neue 2. Wahl Artikel. Man kann die Loks vor dem Kauf Probefahren lassen und testen ob der Sound funktioniert.
    Achsentausch wird auf Bitte vom Personal vorgenommen.
    Das dortige Bistro ist was das essen angeht preislich in Ordnung, qualitativ auch, aber die Getränke sind zu teuer.
    In ca. 1 1/2 bis 2 Stunden ist man im Museum gemütlich durchgelaufen, selbst, wenn man sich einiges an Beiträgen anhört und auch alles durchliest.
