Ausflugsziel: Felsentherme Bad Gastein:

Description Destination

Felsentherme Bad Gastein:
Relaxation at the highest level
At the southern end of the Gastein Valley, directly opposite the Stubnerkogel cable car and Bad Gastein train station, lies the “mother of all thermal baths”. The Felsentherme in Bad Gastein was built in 1968 as Austria's first public thermal spa directly into the rock and is considered an architectural highlight and insider tip among thermal spa fans.
The highest thermal spa in Salzburg, at over 1,100 metres above sea level, offers peace, relaxation and regeneration in combination with a breathtaking panoramic view of the mountains of the Hohe Tauern.
Up this high everything is clearer: clear air and clear water. More than a million liters of clear Gastein thermal water feed the pools of the small but fine thermal spa every day. Due to this enormous supply of fresh water, hardly any chemical additives are necessary. Bathing pleasure at the highest level.
TIP: from the platform to the thermal baths – in less than 50 steps from Bad Gastein train station by train from all directions to the Felsentherme Bad Gastein – closer than you think!
