Description Destination

From the end of the valley in St. Magdalena/Gsieser Tal (1460m), follow the signpost no. 47/48 over the bridge of the Pidig stream. There, turn left and then right after the Schlosser Hof. The hiking trail now leads through an old cattle drive into the Tscharniet valley.
This trail is characterized by the view of the natural toboggan run and the soothing sound of the Tscharniet stream in the background. Always following forest trail no. 47, you reach the Köfler Alm (1808m). Here you cross the stream on a narrow footbridge and then after another 20 minutes you reach the Stumpfalm (2001m, refreshment stop possible). Walking time 2 hours.
