The GEOPARC Bletterbach is part of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage due to its geological and geomorphological peculiarities. The Bletterbach Gorge tells the story of 45 million years of earth's history. Plant fossils, petrified mussels and dinosaur tracks tell the story of the climate and the world 260 million years ago.
