Gut Aiderbichl is committed to animal welfare across Europe and gives animals a voice. What began in 2001 with the meeting farm in Henndorf near Salzburg under founder Michael Aufhauser is now a Europe-wide animal welfare community with 31 farms in six European countries - three meeting farms for visitors in Salzburg and Bavaria and 28 home farms in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Romania and Hungary. The Ballermann Ranch in Lower Saxony and Gut Aiderbichl Osnabrück, the animal welfare community's first placement station, are also among these 31 farms.
In total, more than 8,000 animals find refuge, love and care at Gut Aiderbichl.
