Our interactive exhibition follows the tracks of the ibex through seven rooms and three levels. As you walk along the huge “steep wall” you will get to know the high mountain habitat in all its facets. The seasonal and daily migrations of the mighty ibex are just as authentically reproducible as the struggle for survival in high mountain habitats that usually remain hidden from us humans. In addition to numerous models and interactive games, the exhibition also offers cinematic flights of fancy: The latest technology invites visitors to get to know famous mountain formations from an eagle's perspective and to experience large, small and tiny habitats up close.
The king of the Alps deserves an impressive home: That is why the Ibex House sets new standards in terms of architecture and exhibition technology. Through joint planning of the multifunctional building and the experience exhibition, the house follows a holistic building concept that allows the high alpine habitat to be experienced with all the senses.
From the central information foyer in the entrance area, you can easily and quickly reach the exhibition, café-restaurant, shop, multi-purpose hall as well as club and administration rooms.
