The Johannesbach Gorge is impressive with its diverse flora and fauna. For example, you can discover fire salamanders, dragonflies, butterflies, trout and crayfish.
But the flora in the adjacent forests is in no way inferior to the animal world.
If you keep your eyes open, you can even find the rare orchid, which is a very special type of orchid.
The gorge is also worth a visit in winter. The Würflacher enchant with their Advent market, which takes place directly in the Johannesbach Gorge. Around the decorated tree, a wide variety of artisans present their skills - children's eyes start to light up.
