Description Destination
The Kaasgraben Church - also known as "Our Lady of Sorrows" - is located in the Grinzing district. The first foundation stones for this church were laid in 1883 with a chapel. It was not until 1910 that the Kaasgraben Church was built in all its beauty. The church impresses with its imposing neo-baroque building.
Until the 1960s, the church was a place of pilgrimage, where up to 4,000 visitors were counted on Marian holidays.
But the Kaasgraben Church is still definitely worth a visit today with its beauty.
