The tip for families in Rechnitz is ideal for a family day.
You move through the forest at lofty heights, enjoy the wonderful view and listen to the various bird songs.
A wooden tower, 22 metres high and 15 metres in diameter, stretches for around 700 metres in the middle of the forest.
There are various species of birds in the tower that can be observed.
Our forest and bird world has also been equipped with a labyrinth. Our labyrinth is also barrier-free and is sure to be a hit with young and old.
The path is designed so that it can also be used by blind people and wheelchair users. You will experience nature at lofty heights and take unforgettable impressions of it home with you.
Our goal is:
- getting to know the bird world in our forests
- the appreciation of nature
- Get to know the individual tree species
Our tower provides a home for birds that no longer have a chance of survival in the wild.
With the support of the veterinary university, we take care of the welfare of our animals.
If the fresh forest air makes you hungry, thirsty or tired, you are welcome in the parlor of the children's forest and bird world adventure, where snacks, lemonades and seasonal specialties await you!
