The Linz Crime Trail turns a relaxed city exploration into a real detective adventure. With your smartphone in hand, you immerse yourself in a crime story that takes you all across Linz. As investigators, you follow leads, check clues, and piece together statements to form a coherent picture. The flexible city rally combines outdoor experience with detective work – and lets you experience the city from completely new perspectives.
The case begins spectacularly: After a boat trip on the Danube, a tour boat in Linz's Danube Park is attacked with a Molotov cocktail. While guests seek safety, Frank Blumtal disappears without a trace. Did he jump into the water, was he kidnapped – what's behind it?
Your investigations begin at the Danube station and lead you to the Minorite Church and the imposing Mariendom. Between the waterfront promenade, historical buildings and hidden places, you check alibis and shed light on contradictory statements.
