Description Destination
Under the motto “…rolling through the Salzburg Lake District”, the region invites you to family-friendly experiences.
In the summer of 2026, interactive marble run stations for the whole family will be built in eight locations: The standing labyrinth in Berndorf tests dexterity and precision to safely navigate the marble upwards through the obstacles. In Henndorf, two parallel lanes provide for playful competition: which ball will reach the finish line first? Two balance boards in Seeham challenge body awareness, while at the flipper station in Straßwalchen or Obertrum the goal is to score the most points. Ball labyrinths in Elixhausen and Seekirchen invite you to set the ball in motion and watch it wind its way through the wooden sticks. In Neumarkt, too, the marble run captivates young and old with its fun and games.
Besides the marble runs, other leisure activities offer plenty of family fun, from football golf in Mattsee, to mini golf in Neumarkt, to the marble mill in Seeham.
Afterwards, you can continue splashing around with a water polo ball in the child-friendly beach resorts. Here, spacious play areas, slides and water activities such as stand-up paddling provide plenty of fun and games. Excursion destinations such as Fantasiana, Gut Aiderbichli and Fahr(t)raum complete the family offering.
