Description Destination
The Kunsthalle München is located in the heart of Munich, between Marienplatz and Odeonsplatz. Since 2001, it has been part of the "Five Courtyards" and, with around 350,000 visitors annually, is one of Germany's most important exhibition venues. Every year, the Kunsthalle presents three major exhibitions of the highest quality – each a unique experience. From the beginnings of human history to the present day, masterpieces from all over the world find their brilliant presence here. Whether painting, sculpture, graphics, photography, arts and crafts, fashion or design – there is something exciting to discover for every generation. This brings art and culture to life and makes them accessible to adults and children alike. Families in particular can look forward to a diverse accompanying program: child-friendly tours, creative workshops and events invite you to experience art together in a playful way.
