    Directions

    Car:
    Erfurt - Dresden (BAB 4), exit Ronneburg, B7 towards Ronneburg, at the roundabout take the turnoff towards Posterstein, next turn left and follow the signs for Posterstein Castle.
    This route is not accessible to buses - the railway bridge has too low a clearance height!

    From the direction of Leipzig - Altenburg, follow the B7 until you see the signs for Posterstein Castle after the town of Untschen.

    Coaches:
    Erfurt - Dresden motorway (BAB 4), exit Ronneburg, B7 towards Altenburg, turnoff Nöbdenitz - here follow the signs for Posterstein.

    Arriving by train
    The nearest train station is in the neighboring town of Nöbdenitz. From there you can walk or cycle to Posterstein along the Sprotte adventure trail (approx. 3 km). The hike from Nöbdenitz train station to Posterstein Castle takes about 30-60 minutes.

    Interessantes Ausflugsziel mit Kindern

    Die interaktive Familienausstellung „Die Kinderburg“ nimmt die Kinder mit auf eine spannende, kurzweilige und interessante Zeitreise durch die Burg. Viele liebevoll gestaltete Details sind zu entdecken. Wir waren mit unserem Enkelkind ( fast 5) da und können die Burg als Ziel eines Familienausfluges empfehlen.

    Das ist mal eine Burg wie im Märchen. Schon der Blick vom Parkplatz aus- bezaubernd. Für alle Altersgruppen ist in den Ausstellungsräumen etwas zu entdecken. Kindern wird das Leben auf einer Burg sehr anschaulich vermittelt. Wenn man Glück hat, begegnet man hin und wieder auch einen Ritter zum Anfassen. In Posterstein fühlt man sich stets willkommen.

    Die Kinderburg Burg Posterstein

    Ich kann nicht mehr zählen wie oft ich auf Burg Posterstein war - und ja, ich bin kein Kind mehr.

    Mit und auch ohne Führung (welche im übrigen wunderbar gestaltet sind!) lädt die Burg und das Gelände zum verweilen und entdecken ein.

    Mitmachaktionen, Rätsel, staunen, lernen - man entdeckt mit jedem Besuch Neues.

    Wechselnde Motto bringen immer wieder neues und spannendes zu Tage.

    Liebevoll gestaltete, bewahrte und aufgearbeitete Inhalte für Groß und Klein.

    Kurzum: eine sehenswertes Pflichtprogramm und das auch mehrfach.

    Tolle Kinderburg-Ausstellung

    Beim Besuch der Burg Posterstein bekommen Kinder eine "Schatzkarte", mit der sie die ganze Burg erkunden können. Unterwegs werden Fragen zum Mittelalter kurz und verständlich beantwortet - die Kinder haben Spaß beim Suchen des Lösungsworts und bekommen eine kleine Belohnung.
