Description Destination
In the open-air museum Weinviertler Museumsdorf Niedersulz you can immerse yourself in the everyday life of a Weinviertel village of yesteryear. Around 80 objects such as farms, craftsmen's houses, chapels, barns, an inn and a school and press houses from two centuries have been faithfully rebuilt in the museum village of Niedersulz. The colourful farm gardens in the museum village are unique; they are cultivated according to ecological guidelines with authentic plant rarities and regional flora. The living farm with its old domestic animal breeds such as pigs, sheep, goats, geese, chickens and rabbits is a highlight for young and old visitors. In the "try-it-out house" touching is expressly permitted - put a loaf of bread in the oven, darn socks or test the straw or horsehair mattress.
Two playgrounds, picnic areas and a museum shop round off the extensive offering in the museum village. The Jägerhaus village inn on the village square with its adjoining gazebo offers regional and seasonal dishes and invites you to linger.
