The Trattenbach Museum Village includes a 1.50 km themed trail, where you can walk through 4 stations (Löschenkohl Manufactory, Museum an der Wegscheid, Kinischmiede and Drechslerei an der Erlach) to learn about the history and production of the knife. Every visitor has the opportunity to assemble a knife themselves and to personalize it using pyrography.
You can also book a guided tour or a blacksmith or wood turning demonstration by registering.
