the traditions of rural

last century live again-
dig. Join us on an un-
entertaining journey through time!
Touching and participation allowed!
Sawing wood, threshing grain,
Grinding grain, planting potatoes –
around 1000 historical devices were
waiting to be discovered. If you like, you can watch the blacksmith, the saddler or the
Weaver at work. The little ones are especially dear to our hearts... that's why
They can climb on tractors, romp in the hay or use old machines with the help of the treadmill
put into operation.
Open your eyes and ears! Our pigs and the
love poultry.
Our 2.4 km long nature trail invites you to take a tour through the beauty
the nature. Insects, birds, bats and other wild animals have their home here.
Lined with 232 fruit and 326 ornamental and useful trees from Northern Europe, the
Path to a hornbeam labyrinth, further to a barefoot path. Visit us-
our shovel farm, where cereals such as rye, oats, wheat, spelt and
Potatoes, sunflowers, buckwheat and flax.
Take a sniff! In the idyllic historic farm garden, hidden between boxwood
hedges, flowering perennials and fragrant roses our bee house. In Hildegard
Over 50 medicinal herbs grow in Bingen Garden. And right next door
Brussels sprouts, pumpkin and other traditional vegetables grow and
watch thrive.

    Coming from the A1 federal motorway, take the Lensahn exit and follow the sign towards Lensahn. After about 1 km, immediately after crossing the railway tracks, turn left into the free car park of the Lensahn Museum. Alternatively, you can enter the address Bäderstraße 18 in Lensahn into your navigation system.
    Coming from Kiel, in Lensahn, head towards Dahme, Grömitz, Kellenhusen. Before the railway tracks, turn right into the free car park of the Lensahn Museum.
    Lensahn train station is in the immediate vicinity and can be reached by regional express from Lübeck and Fehmarn.
