Description Destination

Almost completely surrounded by water, the small peninsula of Priwall lies in the Bay of Lübeck. The entire southern part of the Priwall is a nature reserve, on the edge of which is the visitor and information center “Naturwerkstatt Priwall”. Here, young and old are invited to discover the nature of the Priwall and get to know its inhabitants better.
An exhibition entitled “Bird Life Between River and Sea” tells of the varied and fascinating nature of the Priwall and the story of how this peninsula became a very special refuge for rare coastal birds. There are many different exhibition objects, interactive media and playful stations where visitors can try out and puzzle along.
Special offers for children and families also ensure a great nature experience. In the research workshop, you can research and experiment on various nature and environmental topics and get to know the different habitats and their inhabitants during a nature rally. The focus is always on doing things yourself and trying them out.
