Description Destination

In the Noriker Museum, which was designed according to the latest findings and museum educational guidelines, visitors are introduced to the natural and cultural history of the Noriker horse.

The exhibition deals with the following questions, among others:

What are the typical characteristics of the breed? How does the Noriker differ from other horse breeds? What criteria must be met for breeding? What does a Noriker eat and how many liters of water does the horse drink every day? Body language - what is the horse trying to tell me? What significance did the Noriker have in agriculture? Why did the Noriker play an important role for the archbishops? When did the horse develop from a working animal to a leisure animal?
