Embark on a fascinating journey through time into the Obir Caves. 200 million years back in time, modern technology and unique nature. More than 1 million visitors from all over the world have already been convinced by the beauty of the Obir Caves. This unique cave world with 200 million years of geological history scores with an 800 m long underground adventure park. With living stalactites, which are a rarity throughout Europe. During the tour you will pass several stations where multimedia light, sound and video installations underline the spectacle of nature.
The temperature in the Obir Caves is +8°C all year round, the air is dust-free and germ-free, the humidity is 80 - 90% and there is natural ventilation. These are ideal conditions for our partners to let the Obir Schmankalan mature in our caves. Duration of the tour: approx. 90 minutes (total time including bus journey there and back approx. 3 hours). Visits are only possible as part of a guided tour.
Unfortunately no admission for children under 4 years. Audio guides: English, Dutch, Italian, Slow, Hungarian
