Our self-guided outdoor escape game "The King's Envoys" is a unique puzzle adventure through Freiburg – written specifically for this city and this route, not a reused template.
You are part of a royal delegation in front of Freiburg Minster. Instead of the mayor, you will be greeted by the shady assistant Valentin von Schweinefall, and the ten-year-old redhead Robert will be your companion. What begins as a relaxed guided tour turns into a turbulent adventure: knights go berserk, stonemasons fall silent, and a wise Frenchman dozes on the castle hill. A conspiracy is in the air – and only you can uncover it.
Of all our tours, this adventure is rated difficulty level 3 out of 3: challenging, but doable for clever teams. The game lasts approximately 120 minutes, and the route takes you 1.3 km through Freiburg's most beautiful corners.
The tour starts right at Freiburg Cathedral. You share a single token with the whole team, start whenever you want and pause as often as you like – all running on your own smartphones. No download, no account: The game runs instantly in the browser.
