Description Destination

The Lipizzaner Stud in Piber has made it its mission to breed the oldest cultural horse breed in Europe, the Lipizzaner. Around 40 foals are born in the stud every year - black, grey or brown. It is only in the next 4 to 10 years that they get the typical white coat for which the Lipizzaners are so famous.
On our tours you will learn everything about the breeding and keeping of the famous Lipizzaners and you can visit the stud's inner courtyard as well as historic carriages and sleighs in our carriage house.
The Café Restaurant Piber awaits hungry guests.
