Description Destination

Where the wild water from the high mountains meets the ancient rock, there's no turning back! The water makes its way through narrow cracks and over breathtaking waterfalls into the valley below.
Immerse yourself in the raw beauty of nature in the Ragga Gorge in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park region in Carinthia.

The starting point for the approximately 1.5-hour hike is the large free parking lot in the Schmelzhütten district of Flattach, or the bus parking lot directly at the Flattach Tourist Office (right next to the main road). Sturdy footwear is essential for this moderately difficult hike.
