Description Destination
This 18 km long tour around Lake Wallersee can be comfortably completed by bike. A total of 209 meters of elevation gain must be overcome; with an e-bike, the one or two inclines do not pose any major obstacles. This circular route is definitely worth a family outing. At TVB Seekirchen, e-bikes and normal bikes, as well as a children's e-bike, are available for rental.
The path starts from the car park of the Seekirchen lido and leads along the railway line on the western shore of Lake Wallersee, across fields and along the Wenger Moor nature reserve. After the moor, a wonderful view over Lake Wallersee opens up (tip: the benches invite you to take a short rest). Past the eastern bay in Neumarkt and along the southern shore, the path leads past small holiday homes and beautiful rest areas. South of Henndorf you come to Fischtagging and from there it is only a short distance through Seekirchen to the starting point.
The beautiful area, especially at Wenger Moor or along the south bank, is also ideal for a walk.
