This pond was created around 200 years ago for the purpose of floating wood and is located around 800m south of Bärnkopf. The idyllic location and the excellent water quality make this pond attractive for ambitious fishermen. In the summer months it attracts numerous bathers. A snack stand, a toilet facility, a fitness course and a beach volleyball court are located near the lawn.
