Ausflugsziel: Das nach Herzog Moritz benannte Schloss Moritzburg ist wohl das schönste Wasserschloss in Sachsen. 1542 als Jagddomizil errichtet, wurde es unter August der Starke ab 1723 zu einem prachtvollen Barockschloss inmitten einer weitläufigen Teich- und Parkanlage umgebaut. Eine der bedeutendsten Jagdtrophäensammlungen Europas, kunstvolle Goldledertapeten und das mit über einer Million farbiger Vogelfedern geschmückte »Federzimmer« sind nur einige der Schätze, die Schloss Moritzburg beherbergt. Im wahrsten Sinne märchenhaft wird es im Winter: Jährlich verwandelt sich Schloss Moritzburg in die zauberhafte Kulisse des legendären Märchenfilms »Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel«. - Schloss Moritzburg
