Description Destination
The Fürstenlager in Bensheim-Auerbach, dating from the late 18th century, was the rural summer residence of the House of Hesse-Darmstadt. Today, the idyllic composition of a small village with an old spa fountain in the middle of a landscape park is open to all those who enjoy walking and captivates with its peace and quiet.

You can reach the Fürstenlager State Park in Bensheim-Auerbach via the A 5 or the A 67. Coming from Darmstadt, take the Zwingenberg exit (A 5) and continue to Bensheim-Auerbach. In Bensheim-Auerbach, a brown arrow “Fürstenlager” points you along Bachgasse to the parking spaces in front of the state park.
Coming from Heidelberg / Mannheim, take the Bensheim exit and drive towards Bensheim city centre on the B 3 to Bensheim-Auerbach. Here, too, a brown

The paths in the park were originally designed only for walkers and horse-drawn carriages, but not for car traffic. For this reason, driving and parking of vehicles is not permitted
