Description Destination

The Wilhelmsbad State Park was created in 1777 under the Hereditary Prince Wilhelm of Hesse-Kassel. The late baroque buildings are located in one of the earliest landscape gardens in Germany. Even today, like spa guests of the time, you can stroll along the promenade and use the play equipment for entertainment and diversion. As you stroll along the paths that meander through the naturally hilly topography, you will always be surprised by new, picturesque views and impressions. A visit to the artificial castle ruins is a special experience. The state park is one of the State Palaces and Gardens of Hesse.
