The museum's exhibition collection presents a look behind the scenes of the Styrian fire service. Who are the people in the fire service and what stories can they tell?
An absolute highlight of the exhibition is the helmet collection, which includes a large number of national and international fire helmets. Historical firefighting equipment and modern operational technology show the development of the blue light organization.
For the young museum audience, there are children's stations that explain many interesting topics about fire and how to fight it at eye level and invite interaction.
Fire and art come together in an "explosive mixture" throughout the entire season. More information about the artistic interventions, art and cultural exhibitions and the varied supporting program can be found at www.feuerwehrmuseum.at.
