Description Destination
The Viehhausalm, at 1,640 m, is one of the most beautiful viewpoints overlooking Großarl and the Hohe Tauern mountain range. You can reach the alpine pasture in about 1 ¼ hours from the Himmelsknoten parking area; mountain bikers are also welcome.
Once you arrive, you'll be treated to delicious homemade products. There's a charming playground for children – a particular highlight is the chamois swing.

You can either park at the Himmelsknoten car park at the valley exit of Großarl and walk from there for about 1.5 hours to the Viehhausalm on a pleasant path (suitable for pushchairs) or you can also park there and walk to the Mooslehenalm and then via a path to the Viehhausalm in about 1 hour (not suitable for pushchairs).
