In Waisenegg near Birkfeld, they have set themselves the task of creating a hiking trail of a different kind. A path of labyrinths has been created, ensuring that young and old alike get lost. A total of six stations with various labyrinths and barefoot courses invite you to a varied hike for the whole family.

There are also various places to stop along the tour. If you fancy a typical Styrian Brettljaus'n, then take a break at the Joglland Seehütte Töglhofer. A Brettljaus'n is a hearty snack with different types of meat, sausage and cheese. The whole thing is served on a rustic wooden plate. But if you are looking for something more special, then stop off at the Gallbrunner inn and let yourself be pampered by the award-winning cuisine.

    Overall impression

    Ein wenig enttäuschend

    Der Startpunkt mit dem Barfußweg und der nahen Kapelle ist wohl der schönste Punkt dieser Wanderstrecke. Für unsere Großstadt-Enkelkinder (8 und 10 Jahre) war der Weg jedoch zu lang. Zudem gab es am Startpunkt keinen Hinweis darauf, dass die Seehütte dauerhaft geschlossen ist. Das Gasthaus das im 2. Drittel des Weges liegt hatte ebenfalls zu. Daraufhin kürzten wir den Weg ab. Bei den Kindern kam der Barfußparcour und das Seillabyrinth gut an. Das Gleichgewichtslabyrinth ist bei Nässe gefährlich da die Baumstämme rutschig sind!
    Wir waren eigentlich etwas enttäuscht.
