The largest bird park in the world is located in Walsrode in the Lüneburg Heath, in the triangle between Hanover, Bremen and Hamburg. Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of birds. Meet thousands of feathered friends from all over the world and get involved in many unique attractions. 36 hectares of land and over 4,000 birds from 650 species - that makes us the largest bird park in the world.
Weltvogelpark Walsrode - an adventure in any weather
The magical charm of countless tree and flower species creates a colorful and constantly changing backdrop. If the weather does not play along, seven fascinating indoor attractions on 5,000 square meters of covered area in the Walsrode Bird Park ensure an eventful visit.
Exciting hands-on feeding and a spectacular flight show
Take part in the daily feedings of the penguins, pelicans, birds of prey and baby birds. At the spectacular flight show, you will go on an exciting journey around the world with our feathered stars and experience the thermals of the South American Andes with Andean condor "Carlos", hunt snakes in the savannahs of Africa with secretary bird "Boots" and go salmon fishing in North America with bald eagle "Lady".

The indoor show at the Weltvogelpark Walsrode is both entertaining and educational. Go on a journey through the evolution of flight. Together with the animal trainers and a lot of animal support, you will discover the secrets of flying.
