Euroloppet Ganghoferlauf
The Ganghoferlauf in Leutasch has been making history for five decades. The cross-country race has long been known far beyond the Tyrolean borders. The competition distances are 25 or 50 kilometers in the classic style or 20 or 42 kilometers in the skating technique. The Ganghoferlauf thus offers amateur athletes and cross-country skiing professionals a common challenge under ideal competition conditions.

Train
There are good rail connections to Seefeld from Munich and Innsbruck. From Munich you can use the particularly fast ICE connection with a stop in Seefeld. From December 2018, there will also be direct connections from Cologne via Frankfurt and Hamburg via Hanover. Seefeld train station is located directly on the edge of the pedestrian zone.

There are excellent connections to the region from all four directions:
East/West – via the A12; Exit Zirl or Telfs (approx. 12 km)
South – from the Brenner motorway to the A12
North – from Munich via Garmisch in about 1.5 hours via Mittenwald to Scharnitz
bus
Long-distance buses run daily from Munich or Innsbruck. From Austria, Germany or Switzerland you can get to Seefeld or Scharnitz from larger cities in a short time with a maximum of one change.
