By car: From Bad Langensalza in the direction of Zimmern or from Eisenach in the direction of Bad Langensalza (B84) via Craula to the Thiemsburg hiking car park. From there you can reach the treetop path in 10 minutes on foot.
By bus and train: The train takes you by ICE to Eisenach, Gotha or Göttingen. From Eisenach you can then reach the treetop path with the Hainich bus (line 150). From Gotha and Göttingen you can take regional trains to Bad Langensalza. There is also a good bus connection to the treetop path from there.
The Hainich National Park is a nature destination. Thanks to the convenient train journey and the well-connected public transport system, you can enjoy your vacation in an environmentally friendly way.
