Forest Discovery World Kopfing – Nature, adventure and enjoyment in the Sauwald
The Forest Discovery World in Kopfing in the Innviertel region is a diverse nature and adventure destination for families. The centerpiece is the approximately 1,000 m long treetop walkway up to 15 m above the forest floor, complemented by the forest discovery tower with panoramic views and the forest floor path, where you can playfully discover animals and plants.
Children can romp around on the approximately 5,000 m² adventure playground, meet alpacas and experience numerous forest stations. For the brave, there is a high ropes course with a flying fox as well as a 3D archery course with 15 stations and lifelike 3D animals. Three YouExit Escape Rooms await you in the tower of the treetop walkway, each offering 60 minutes of puzzle fun; Entry to the Forest Discovery World is included in the YouExit packages.
Those who wish to stay longer can spend the night in the tree hotel: 21 tree houses (e.g. forest view, treetop apartment, forest loft) are located five to ten meters above the forest floor, including half board in the forest kitchen and admission to the Forest Discovery World. Group treehouses and forest rooms are available for groups and school classes.
The freely accessible forest kitchen offers regional cuisine, a breakfast buffet, hot meals and, upon pre-order, Reindl dishes as well as the multi-course forest dinner.
During Advent, the area transforms into an atmospheric forest Christmas market with sparkling lights, market stalls and a children's program – ideal for getting in the mood for the Christmas season.

    Tolles Ausflugsziel für Familien

    Man geht auf einem Holzweg an den Baumwipfeln entlang.Sehr viele Stufen,daher mit Kinderwagen wahrscheinlich nur bedingt geeignet - eine Banytrage ist sicher zu empfehlen.Auf Aussichtsturm hat man einen tollen Ausblick in die Umgebung.Tolle Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder mit großem Spielplatz und Niederseilgarten.Die Kinder können gut Balance,Geschicklichkeit und Koordinationsfähigkeit trainieren.Etwas ärgerlich fand ich,dass ohne Begründung die Riesenrutsche gesperrt war.Mein Sohn hat zig Mal gefragt,warum und wir konnten es ihm nicht erklären.Gastronomie überraschend günstig.Die gesamte Anlage liegt im Wald,so dass ich froh war,meine Kinder mal nicht dick mit Sonnencreme eincremen zu müssen trotz hochsommerlichem Wetter.Nette Idee: am Beginn wurde ein Foto von uns geschossen,das man hinterher um ein paar Euro kaufen konnte.
