Description Destination

This 3 km long circular trail leads past, through and over the small and large Bergsteinmauer (990 m), the Wackelfelsen, the Cyclopsfelsen and the Nesselberg. The rock formations are crossed either on small "via ferratas" (A/B) or normal hiking trails. There are overview maps near the rocks showing the climbing and hiking options. Some stone giants can be climbed using ladders and stairs.
The starting point and parking lot is at the Gasthaus Hager in Hackstock. The path is number 28 and is very well signposted (yellow signposts with the inscription Bergsteinmauer 28). Additionally, it is marked with red-white-red markings. Good footwear is absolutely necessary.
Pay close attention to the children, as there are no safety measures in some areas (especially on the Nesselberg it is very exposed and not without danger). There are plenty of small caves to discover along the way and a geocache is hidden (www.geocaching.com). The "climbing circuit" is well suited for sure-footed children with hiking experience. Take a carrier with you for the little ones.
