Right next to the world-famous Paul Außerleitner ski jump, visitors can expect an exciting overview of the entire Geopark with all its attractions such as mines, exhibition tunnels and museums. Directly in the visitor center, interesting and "tangible" original facilities relating to ore mining make this topic an extraordinary experience.
Join us in the world of colorful ores and discover the facilities related to ore mining, as well as unique special exhibitions and the newly constructed visitor tunnel.
For example, the 3-meter-high impeller, which was once used to pump water out of the mine tunnels, the climbing trees for overcoming the height differences in the tunnel or various experiments make the visit an unforgettable experience, and not just for children.
Facilities such as the fitness course and the impressive Gainfeld waterfall with the old Pongowe castle ruins are just a few minutes' walk from the visitor center and make the trip a very special family and school experience.
