Description Destination

The educational trail begins in the Hirsau spa park and includes several display boards, a sandarium and a large nesting aid with a wooden statue that extends to the Flößerwasen.

The “Blooming Nature Park” project, in which the city of Calw participated by sowing flower meadow seeds in the Hirsau spa park, is perfectly complemented by the bee educational trail. The Baden Beekeepers' Association (LV) and the Central/Northern Black Forest Nature Park are committed to greater ecological diversity in the region as part of the project.

The flower meadow attracts butterflies and wild bees, which are threatened by the extinction of insects.
