Teddy Bear Manufactory Martin Bären
In the heart of Sonneberg, the former world toy city, a small family business preserves the magic of childhood memories: The teddy bear factory Martin Bären still produces traditional teddy bears with movable arms and legs and a growling voice, just like in the old days. The biggest of all, a 3.60m tall teddy bear when sitting, sits in the extra large shop window and greets its guests.
There is a lot to discover
In addition to the largest, the in-house teddy bear museum also has the smallest and a variety of other cuddly companions, sometimes cheerful and playful, sometimes cheeky and shaggy. Unusual, classic, colorful or bear-like teddy bears show a variety of characters, similar to humans. And no matter what size or color, they get along perfectly.
The store has a DIY cuddly toy corner where anyone can make their own cuddly toy without having to register. You should plan on about half an hour for this and the feeling of success of holding your own homemade cuddly friend with birth certificate in your hands is guaranteed.
The entrance fee for the museum is €3 per person for children and adults.
