While the "Glass Treasury", a princely display collection of historical glass, can be experienced at Veste Coburg, the branch museum in Rosenau Palace Park presents the more recent and recent development of international glass art. From traditional vessels to figurative works to large installations - modern glass is at home here in all its facets. High-quality objects allow you to understand the development of studio glass from the 1960s to the present day. In the museum's own lamp glass studio, you can look over the shoulders of glass artists and even try your hand at designing glass beads yourself.
