The Fichtenschloss (Spruce Castle) on the Rosenalm high above Zell am Ziller is a children's paradise covering over 5,000 m2 and makes a trip to the Zillertal Arena, the largest ski area in the Zillertal, a unique experience for young and old, even in summer.
Every childhood is full of magic and enchanting moments – in the Fir Castle with the Fir Elves, you and your family can rediscover this joy of life. A long, long time ago, the industrious spruce elves came to the Rosenalm and lovingly built a sprawling castle complex on over 5,000 m² for the prince and princess who were to live there in the future.
Even from a distance, the four accessible towers, made entirely of wood, can be seen, rising majestically into the sky. Guests of all ages at the Zillertal Arena can now let loose by climbing on the climbing tower, sliding in the slide tower or tinkering in the crane tower. The magnificent view of the surrounding mountains can best be enjoyed from the 18 m high observation tower, or daring explorers can explore the treetop walkway which leads from the slide tower through the adjacent trees. In addition to a wooden ball track, the spacious water and sand play area and an adventure playground, little builders will also find numerous opportunities to continue the work of the spruce gnomes in the spruce gnome building hut and in the crane tower. The hammock forest isn't the only place that offers cozy spots to rest and relax.
