Description Destination

This branch museum of the Bavarian National Museum is housed in the north wing of the classicist stables. Outstanding art objects from the princely collections, which were taken over by the Free State of Bavaria in 1993, are presented here. The works of goldsmiths, watchmakers and gunsmiths, the furniture, porcelain, glasses and precious items from the 17th to 19th centuries bear witness to princely splendour with works from Europe's leading art workshops.
