Whether in the museum garden, on a tour of the exhibition or gaining insights into the technology of the impressive building – here you can experience sustainability with all your senses.
The NAWAREUM is extremely popular as a bad weather program, not only among holidaymakers in the Bavarian Forest. But even when the weather is nice, the NAWAREUM attracts young and old alike. The species-rich museum garden is waiting to be explored by guests. In addition, the idyllic garden terrace makes the museum bistro "ErneuerBar" an insider tip among the cafés in Straubing.
The permanent exhibition and its texts are easy to understand for all guests aged 12 and over. For primary school children, there are children's stations spread throughout the exhibition, which adults also enjoy trying out. Unique events and regular guided tours round off the offer.
