The spacious and idyllic spa park in the heart of the city invites you to spend relaxing hours in nature with its over 300-year-old linden tree avenue directly on the banks of the Nagold river, the spa park lake and numerous romantic nooks and crannies. The lovingly designed, colorful and seasonally changing flower displays complete the unique spa park panorama that will enchant you. As dusk falls, the spa park is transformed into a colorful sea of ​​light thanks to the special themed lighting – something everyone should see at least once.
For those who enjoy being active, the spa park offers numerous attractions for a visit full of fun and games. In the playground, little ones can let off steam amidst the lush greenery and the numerous pieces of equipment. Besides a sandbox, two swings and a large basket swing, there is also plenty of climbing: there are monkey bars and a climbing spider made of ropes. Whether you ride the cable car or slide down the slide, do gymnastics, pump water – there's something for everyone here!
For an educational outing, the planetary trail presents a model of our solar system and provides exciting information about the individual planets. On the 18 holes of the mini-golf course, you can golf to your heart's content, or challenge your loved ones to an exciting game of giant chess right next door. From A as in Adonis flower to Z as in white bryony, the 150 plant species in the apothecary garden are arranged according to their different areas of application such as heart/circulation or cough/bronchitis. In addition to these "indication beds", other beds are dedicated exclusively to culinary herbs and plants that are used, for example, in homeopathy. For blind and visually impaired visitors, the facility was expanded to include a scent and touch garden. Here, the plants are arranged at a height that allows them to reach and feel the plants, and information is provided in Braille on signs.
Another highlight of the spa park is the drinking hall. The light-flooded glass pavilion serves as a center for tourist information and as an exhibition and sales space for the treasures of Bad Liebenzell and the Northern Black Forest region. At the stylish fountain, the water of the famous Paracelsus spring can be drunk in the special atmosphere of the drinking hall.
