We will be back on the mountain pasture with our dairy cows from May 25th and look forward to your visit again.
The valley bus runs until September 24, 2023.
Our rustic, traditional alpine hut (built in 1730) is located in the unique Rauriser Seidlwinkltal at 1330m above sea level. Countless waterfalls line the path.
The nature lover is enthusiastic about the diversity of plants.
The alpine pasture is easily accessible for everyone in just over an hour's walk (even with a stroller). A part of the first section is steeper. If walking is too much, there is also a reliable valley bus that takes you to the hut.
Once you arrive, you will experience our traditional alpine farming with our own "gourmet" products from our cattle and our milk. For the children there is a spacious playground, calves, free-range pigs, rabbits to pet and marmots - Manggei very close to the hut. Our loyal cat Charly is always available for cuddles. New is our water playground and a sunken trampoline. We look forward to seeing you - whatever the weather. Children are also welcome to watch the milking in the milking parlor and taste the fresh milk - daily at around 4:15 p.m.
The last valley bus leaves at 5:20 pm
The path is well paved, so you can also go out with good rain gear if the
weather is not so inviting.
We process some of the milk on the mountain pastures into butter and cheese, and of course we bake the bread ourselves.

Coming from Salzburg, take the A10 towards St. Johann im Pongau and continue towards Zell am See (B311). After Taxenbach, turn towards Rauris and continue via Wörth into the Seidlwinkltal to the Fleckweide car park. From here, it is about an hour's walk or continue with the valley bus to the Palfneralm. Ist die Alm ganzjährig geöffnet oder gibt es Schließzeiten zwischen Winter und Sommersaison?

Die Alm ist von ca. 20. Mai bis Anfang Oktober geöffnet. Aufgrund der Lage ist das Tal im Winter unzugänglich und wegen Lawinengefahr wird immer eine Wintersperre verhängt.
