The largest vintage car collection in Europe
Discover more than 2,500 historic vehicles on over 22,000 square meters of exhibition space at a total of five locations.
Our main exhibition in the PS.SPEICHER takes you on a journey through the history of mobility spanning over 200 years. In a way that is clear, varied, informative and without being didactic, we guide our guests chronologically through all eras and development phases of individual motorization on around 5,000 m². You will find more than just a conventional museum here, as we breathe new life into over 400 vehicles on two, three and four wheels in this interactive exhibition.
In our four different PS.SPEICHER depots within Einbeck, you can also enjoy small cars, discover exhibits from 100 years of commercial vehicle history or go on an exploration tour through the world of motorcycles and automobiles.
Visit our PS.SPEICHER small car depot and discover the “microcars” from 90 years of small car history. What once began in the time of the economic miracle with bizarre but certainly practical vehicles continues to move generations to this day.
At the PS.SPEICHER Depot Truck + Bus you will not only find trucks and large and small buses, but also construction machinery and engines from almost 100 years of commercial vehicle history. Since summer 2020, we have also been showing around 30 Lanz Bulldogs and other agricultural exhibits in the “Lanz-Wirtschaft”.
We present 800 two-wheelers to you in the PS.SPEICHER Depot Motorrad. Spread over three floors with an area of 3,500 square meters, you can see German series motorcycles from the beginning to the 1980s, but also numerous international brands.
On an area of 3,800 square meters, vintage car fans can expect around 200 cars in the PS.SPEICHER Depot Automobil. The vehicles mainly come from the economic miracle period. The large collections of the brands VW, BMW, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Adler and Borgward are certainly an impressive crowd puller. But there are also numerous unique pieces available – including from brands that have long since disappeared or been forgotten.
The PS.SPEICHER has the largest accessible collection of historic vehicles of this type in Europe. Here, visitors experience the full spectrum of mobility history, from small to large.

We differentiate between summer and winter opening times.
In the summer months (April - October) the PS.SPEICHER is open Tuesday - Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
In the winter months (November - March) the PS.SPEICHER is open Tuesday - Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Monday is a day off. The PS.SPEICHER is open on public holidays (including Mondays!).

If you are arriving by car, you can easily reach the PS.SPEICHER via the A7 or the B3.
If you are arriving by public transport, the following applies:
If you are coming by train from Hanover or Göttingen, you can take the regional train directly to the Einbeck-Mitte stop and from there you can reach the PS.SPEICHER on foot in just under 15 minutes.
From the train station, follow Dr.-Friedrich-Uhde-Straße to Möncheplatz. Walk over the Lange Brücke towards the city center to the market square/market church. Walk past the church on the right and you will reach Tiedexer Straße. Continue straight on. You will cross Maschenstraße and Schrammstraße and after 200 m you will reach the PS.SPEICHER (Tiedexer Tor 3).
