Nestled in the beautiful landscape of the Rhön Mountains, the Wasserkuppe ski and toboggan arena offers a unique, natural leisure experience where tobogganing, views and adventure are paramount. This makes the ski and toboggan arena different from conventional amusement parks and more reminiscent of large alpine adventure mountains. Three toboggan runs, the Wie-Li and the Hexenbesen provide plenty of fun, the climbing forest provides a sense of adventure and a touch of thrill, and in the modern mountain restaurant “Märchenwiesenhütte” visitors can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Rhön. On weekends and holidays, a varied and very affordable brunch buffet is offered, allowing you to comfortably start a day full of outdoor fun and relaxation.

The Wasserkuppe summer toboggan run is easily accessible by car. It is located on Hesse's highest mountain, the Wasserkuppe, in the Rhön Mountains and belongs to the municipality of Gersfeld. The easiest way to get there is via the A7 or A66 motorways. From the A7, take the Fulda-Mitte or Fulda-Süd exit, and from the A66, take the Eichenzell exit. Then follow the signs towards Gersfeld and continue to the Wasserkuppe. The last few kilometers lead directly up to the high plateau via well-maintained country roads. Ample parking is available on site, close to the toboggan run. The destination address for your navigation device is: Wasserkuppe 60, 36129 Gersfeld (Rhön).
