Description Destination
The snow-sure family ski resort Loser in Altaussee in the Styrian Salzkammergut extends over 1,000 meters in altitude and offers an attractive range of 34 kilometers of excellently groomed slopes and fog-free panoramic views of the Ausseerland and nearby Upper Austria.
Modern 6-seater chairlifts ensure comfortable transport and allow uninterrupted fun on the slopes without long waiting times. Beginners and advanced skiers alike will find plenty of space for gliding, carving and swinging on the newly optimized slopes.
The “Loserfenster” fun park offers pure action, the freeride areas are unique and among the most spectacular in the entire Alpine region.
After the beginners' lessons in the children's ski area and the first turns on the practice slope, the way is clear to the longest family run in Austria. The 9 km long, groomed panoramic road is also ideal for ski tourers and winter hikers who want to enjoy the descent on a toboggan. All guests without winter equipment can use selected lifts to enjoy perfect winter fun on the Loser.
Cozy ski huts right on the slopes tempt you to stop off and enjoy delicacies while enjoying wonderful views.
Thanks to the optimal altitude and the new full snowmaking system, the Loser guarantees snow and fun on the slopes from December until spring.
