Description Destination
The Hinterste Mühle is a historic site on the city limits of Neubrandenburg (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). Located in the Lindetal nature reserve, the area is characterized by its natural and recreational design. The Hinterste Mühle with its mill pond is the starting point and intersection point of many hiking trails. Since the middle of the 19th century, the people of Neubrandenburg and their guests have enjoyed using the Hinterste Mühle as a local recreation and excursion destination.
Hinterste Mühle gGmbH is the operator of the social and youth center at the Hinterste Mühle location. As a child and youth work facility in Neubrandenburg, it organizes festivals, themed action days, children's birthdays, holiday camps and day care centers for children and young people in the leisure center.
The Hinterste Mühle school camp is primarily open to children and youth groups, but families and adult groups from sports clubs, musicians or seminar groups are also welcome.
The school farm provides a home for many domestic and pet animals and children can experience the animals up close.
